Last updated: August 21, 20261. Nature of Services
Century Document Services ("CDS", "we", "us", or "our") provides document courier, apostille filing assistance, notary services, and business formation filing services. CDS acts solely as a document courier and filing agent. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Nothing on this website or in any communication from CDS constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship.
For legal advice regarding your documents, business formation, or any legal matter, you should consult a licensed Florida attorney.
2. Client Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all documents submitted to CDS are accurate, complete, and properly executed prior to submission. CDS is not responsible for delays, rejections, or additional fees resulting from incomplete, incorrect, or improperly prepared documents.
You agree to respond promptly to any requests for additional information or documentation. Delays caused by your failure to respond in a timely manner may affect processing times and are outside CDS's control.
3. Apostille & Courier Services
CDS provides apostille courier and filing services on behalf of clients. All apostille processing is subject to the sole discretion of the Florida Department of State. CDS does not guarantee approval, specific processing times, or outcomes. Standard processing times are 3–5 business days; expedited processing times are 1–2 business days, subject to state availability and staff discretion.
Expedited filing fees and turnaround times vary and are subject to change. Contact us at [email protected] or call 800.674.6449 for current fee schedules and availability.
4. Business Formation Services
CDS assists clients with the preparation and filing of business formation documents with the Florida Division of Corporations, including LLC formations, corporation formations, fictitious name (DBA) registrations, and registered agent services. CDS does not provide legal or tax advice in connection with these services.
State filing fees paid to the Florida Division of Corporations are non-refundable once submitted, regardless of the outcome of the filing. CDS is not responsible for rejections resulting from inaccurate information provided by the client.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CDS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of our services, even if CDS has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
CDS's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to CDS for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
6. Minor Clients
CDS may provide services to individuals under the age of 18 only with the express written consent of a parent or legal guardian. By booking services on behalf of a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms and Conditions and assumes full responsibility for all obligations arising from the engagement.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida.
8. Changes to These Terms
CDS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
