Independent Contractor Agreement *

SUMMARY OF KEY TERMS

1. Independent Contractor. You are an independent contractor, not an employee of CDS. You control how you perform services and may work for other clients.

2. Compensation. You will be paid $50–$75 per completed signing (or as agreed per assignment). You are responsible for your own taxes. CDS will issue a Form 1099 as required.

3. Confidentiality. You agree to keep all client and CDS information strictly confidential, both during and after your participation in the program.

4. Compliance. You must hold a valid notary commission, maintain required bonds and E&O insurance, and comply with all applicable Florida notary laws.

5. Background Check. Participation requires consent to a background check. CDS may deny or terminate partnership based on results.

6. Liability. You are responsible for the accuracy of your notarial acts. CDS is not liable for your errors or omissions.

7. Termination. Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice. Confidentiality obligations survive termination.

8. Governing Law. This agreement is governed by Florida law. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in Pinellas County, FL.
